Choose a Package

Choose the Dyrected package that matches your framework, app shape, and backend boundary.

Use this page when you know your frontend framework, but you are not sure which Dyrected package should own the integration.

The practical choice is not "which package has the most features?" It is: where does the Dyrected backend live, and how much framework glue do you want?

  • If you are building a Next.js app, start with @dyrected/next.
  • If you are building a Nuxt app, start with @dyrected/nuxt.
  • If you already have a running Dyrected API and need a React integration, use @dyrected/react.
  • If you already have a running Dyrected API and need a Vue integration, use @dyrected/vue.
  • If you only need a typed client and no framework glue, use @dyrected/sdk.

The package map

PackageReach for it whenWhat it gives you
@dyrected/nextYou are in a Next.js App Router project and want the strongest first-party integration.Self-hosted route handler, admin wrapper, Next-aware media components, withDyrected, and SDK re-exports.
@dyrected/nuxtYou are in Nuxt and want the backend mounted by the module or want Nuxt-aware client wiring.Nuxt module, auto-imported composables, auto-registered components, server handler, and admin bridge.
@dyrected/reactYou are in a plain React app or want the lowest React integration layer.Provider, hooks, live preview, admin wrapper, and UI helpers.
@dyrected/vueYou are in a plain Vue 3 app and need Vue-side composables and the admin bridge.Vue composables, live preview, auth helpers, and a React-in-Vue admin wrapper.
@dyrected/sdkYou want a framework-agnostic typed client.Reads, writes, auth helpers, uploads, preview helpers, and typed query APIs.

For most teams, the first choice is straightforward:

  • Next.js project: start with @dyrected/next
  • Nuxt project: start with @dyrected/nuxt
  • React or Vue app talking to Cloud or another existing API: start with @dyrected/react or @dyrected/vue
  • Scripts, utilities, or another app consuming content: start with @dyrected/sdk

If a higher-level integration exists for your framework, prefer it over assembling the lower-level pieces yourself.

What this section covers

These pages focus on the framework boundary:

  • how to mount or point at the API
  • how to embed the admin
  • which package owns framework-specific setup
  • where live preview and typed SDK usage fit

Deeper feature pages still live elsewhere:
